Certain Head Chef Jobs only open up every several years and this is one such job in a small, but very busy Hotel, in a location that's fairly described as stunning.
The job is "year round" with the summer being an extremely high demand, and demanding, period while the pace slackens off somewhat during the winter. Relative to the Hotel size, and its rural location, the package on offer is a very attractive one. That's one reason we expect competition for this role to be very strong and why we encourage you to get your application in as soon as you can.
This really isn't a position suitable for anyone who hasn't already got very good experience as a Head Chef, excellent culinary skills, proven kitchen management experience and the, ubiquitous, ability to work under pressure; especially so during the peak season.
So if you're looking to move up from sous chef then this isn't the job for you.
