Job search and career coaching programs have long been a mainstay in the world of multinationals; but in the catering world chefs are often left to fend for themselves when downsizing hits. At the behest of chefs and caterers, who have been faced with the unpalatable need to make valued staff redundant, we have devised a CV Preparation, Job Search & Interview Techniques Programme which we are pleased to make available.

With a primary focus on job search, and the skills and attitudes needed to win in a competitive employment market, this intensive one on one program prepares chefs for the conditions and challenges they will face after their employment ends and the search to find a new chefs job begins. Designed in consultation with clients, and taking into account factors unique to the hospitality and catering sector, our job search program has the objective of supporting chefs in the task of providing expert career guidance and support for those staff members with whom circumstances require them to part company.
