The Sous Chef will be instrumental in assisting the Head Chef in maintaining high standards of food production, innovative menu creation, and smooth kitchen operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Support and motivate the kitchen team while exemplifying excellence in food production and presentation.
- Participate actively in the menu planning process, bringing creativity and innovation.
- Uphold strict operational hygiene and food safety standards within the kitchen.
- Work alongside the Head Chef to achieve profitability targets and meet budgetary expectations.
- Cultivate excellent relationships with the restaurant management team and other department heads to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in 4-star or higher hotel kitchens or upscale restaurants.
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or culinary arts is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proven ability to enhance guest satisfaction and manage a high-performing team.
