Description
This Head Chef Job is all about getting it right in quality and, some, quantity. Our clients want to create an informal and relaxed dining experience for their own clientele, but an experience to which the quality of the food is central. That's why they're looking for a Head Chef who is comfortable with a reasonably brisk turnover but not given to compromising on the quality of the product; which is very much aimed at the discerning end of the brasserie gastropub market. Now that you know the type of experience they're looking to create you're probably already close to knowing whether you're the type of chef with the skills, experience and enthusiasm. If you are then we very much want to hear from your, sooner rather than later.
You'll need to have worked to at least Senior Sous Chef level in equivalent establishments, or better. Experience is preferred so if you've operated at Head Chef level previously then all the better, but exemplary candidates who've worked to just Sous Chef level certainly won't be dismissed out of hand. This is a picturesque and pretty part of Ireland, rents and property prices are comparatively very competitive and yet Dublin is still quite easy and fast to get to. The package is certainly a strong one, particularly given the location. There's a kitchen team and they're waiting on their new Head Chef. So if you're thinking you'd like to investigate this opportunity then don't let it pass you by, apply now.
If you're applying from abroad please remember you have to be eligible to work in the host country. All job offers, and even our ability to consider your application, are subject to this condition.
Due to the sheer volume of CVs we handle we cannot, in all cases, promise an immediate personal response.
