Our client is an award winning gastrobar in Co. Louth and we are currently helping them recruit a Sous Chef. They're looking for someone with previous experience in a similarly busy & dynamic kitchen. As well as having a passion for excellent food, the ideal candidate must be willing to bring some creativity to the current menu.
The provision of more healthy vegan options on the menu will be a key development in the months ahead. A Sous Chef with experience of, but not restricted to, these areas will particularly interest our client.
Primary Responsibilities will include:
- Providing support to the Head Chef in all areas of food production and hygiene
- Maintain control over the costs of kitchen food and labour
- Ensure that all Food & Hygiene standards are maintained especially in the Head Chef's absence
- Ensure high-quality food is consistently produced by the kitchen
