An important client of ours is opening a plant-based cocktail bar & restaurant in Amsterdam later this year. The restaurant, located in Amsterdam's historic center, will be one of the most exciting and innovative concepts under the Plant-Based category. It will be a conscious, plant-based restaurant with a delicious Mexican flavour.

Create menus with a focus on fresh ingredients and Mexican flavors

Train cooks to follow recipes and maintain quality standards

Plan ahead for daily lunch and dinner services

Check inventory in order to order food supplies in a timely manner

Ensure food safety in accordance to regulations

Handle inbound shipments of food products

Keep records of all food items that have been ordered or produced

Maintain cleanliness in kitchen area

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience as a Sous Chef at a restaurant

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage staff effectively

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with shifting priorities
