Job Description: An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Chef de Partie in a charming, secluded hotel nestled in lush grounds in Co. Cork. This property, which retains beautiful period features, has already been recognised by the AA guide with two rosettes for its exquisite dining.
Our client is seeking a candidate with experience in hotels and restaurants, ideally in kitchens at 2AA rosette and above and Michelin Bib Gourmand and above. This is a chance to be part of a brand-new team, helping to shape the culinary future of this beautifully refurbished property.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section
- Assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
- Preparing meat and fish
- Assisting with the management of health and safety
- Assisting with the management of food hygiene practices
- Managing and training any Commis Chefs
- Monitoring portion and waste control
- Overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards
