Because this is a smaller, more intimate, establishment you'll have to have both very strong culinary credentials and tremendous versatility. There is one main kitchen and this kitchen handles both banquets (which are small) and a very popular restaurant. As Sous Chef you'll have responsibility over all aspects of food production and service. This is an all year round hotel but, because of its location, peak demand is in the summer with business quieting down in the winter.
In chef speak this means you'll be going straight into a very busy kitchen with all the demands you'd expect to find at this time of year. So it might be a bit later in the year before you'll have a lot of time to contemplate the spectacularly beautiful location.
