Our client has a Sous Chef Job in a four star hotel in Co. Cork. This is the ideal opening for the Sous Chef ready to step up to the challenge of delivering excellence at volume.
As a sous chef, you'll join an established team led by a highly experienced head chef. This chef is for a #2 looking to collaborate and shape the kitchen's future.
Ideally, you should have experience at least at the level of senior Chef De Partie in similar establishments, four-star and above. If you have some Sous Chef experience under your belt then that's all to the good but ambitious and chefs who've worked to Chef de Partie level will have their applications seriously considered too.
Besides the usual requirements for a second Chef, you'll also need experience in banqueting, HACCP knowledge, working to a budget, the ability to run the kitchen without a Head Chef and a passion for mentoring the kitchen team.
