- Creating, preparing, cooking, and presenting desserts to hotel standards
- Assisting head pastry chef with the creation of new ideas for the dessert menus
- You must be knowledgeable about food hygiene and health & safety standards and ensure that the pastry section and those working there are safe at all times
- Supervising and training any commis pastry working with you
- Having high standards of food safety and adhering to all health and safety laws on your team
