There is a position available for a Pastry Chef to join one of the island's foremost luxury country house hotels, in Co. Kilkenny. In its own landscaped grounds, this hotel offers great hospitality, impeccable service, and exquisite cuisine.
The type of pastry chef that we are looking for is someone who has taken great care throughout their career to work constantly in the best kitchens possible.
A pastry chef with a background in hotels with a 4 Star Deluxe rating and above would be ideal. However, Relais & Chateau experience and experience in kitchens with at least 2 AA Rosettes would also be beneficial. A significant part of the job here is working with chocolate, so it is an area in which you'll need to show considerable confidence as well.
