A new Head Chef job in a stellar Munster location for your consideration. Our client is a small hotel with a busy and acclaimed food and beverage aspect to their business. While there is a strongly seasonal emphasis to their business this hotel is open all year round with business peaking strongly in the summer.
The suitable applicant will have a proven ability to run small hotel kitchens, of a high standard, to a high standard.
This role is very much hands on so you'll need to be comfortable, to coin a phrase, wearing many hats. Culinarily you'll have to be strong on both ideas and execution while mentoring and inspiring your small team to deliver high levels of performance.
You'll also need to be fully up to speed on implementing and managing HACCP systems and strong on delivering good food cost percentages.
