- You are knowledgeable about food hygiene and health & safety standards and you ensure your team and you are safe at all times
- Creating, preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes in your area of expertise
- Supervising and training any commis working for you
- Assisting the sous chef and the head chef with the creation of new dishes and menus
- Having high standards of food safety and adhering to all health and safety laws on your team
