We’ve been working hard to provide chefs with free and, more importantly, user friendly Chef CV, Resume resources recently. Those CV resources, tips, advice, CV-Resume Schema and CV Template downloads, are elaborated upon in a few of our more recent blog posts. Two things made us aware of the need for better Chef CV, Resume resources:
- We often receive very bad, in some cases quite damaging, CV’s from really excellent chefs
- We get a lot of requests from chefs for help with CV’s
Elsewhere on the site we frequently advise chefs that the best time to get their CV’s, Resumes, Curriculum Vitaes (so many different terms for the same thing) to us is today. We say it because we mean it. The likelihood of any given chef finding a suitable chef’s job, on any given day, or even any given month, is quite remote; so the worst way to manage your career is to wait until you’re fed up with your current job, or worse, till they’re fed up with you. That’s why you should get your CV-Resume to a catering recruitment agency or better again a Specialist Chef Recruitment Agency without delay. Naturally we commend ourselves to you but whether or not you choose to send your details to us you’re most welcome to use our CV resources for free. If you want to be nice though you could hit the Google +1 Button and/or the Facebook “Like” button on this page (or anywhere on the site), we, ahem, “like” it a lot when you do that for us.

For all our talk about the advantages of “lodging” your CV with us, until now you had to either email us or apply for a job on the TOPCHEFS Chefs Job Board. Bear in mind too, that not all the Chef hiring assignments we’re tasked with make it to the jobs board, so there’s another reason to deposit your CV-Resume with us as soon as possible.
